Hate or love the movie, I had a terrific time working on it. I'm a huge DB fan, so in late 2007 when they asked me if I'd be part of making the live action movie, I answered with an enthusiastic "YES!" Here are some of my boards from the opening sequence. Enjoy.
You'll notice some that were done in pencil with an X through them. Back in 2007 before I had a Cintiq, I would do my roughs in pencil and afterward, meet with the director to review the sequence. A lot of the time, frames are eliminated from the sequences to keep the pace moving. Those were the X frames in this set of boards. Please feel free to comment or request for specific future posts.
